this product was just as described and true to fit. If the person normally wears a Large, get a large.
well constructed, comfortable fit September 27, 2009 J. Russell (Ellicott City, MD United States) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is a great shirt to wear to the beach, and to engage in water sports like surfing, boogie-boarding etc.
The stitching is excellent, the material fast drying, and the multi-color patches that make up the shirt are very stylish.
Great for beach or water March 28, 2010 Consumer (New York City) This is a nicely designed, very attractive shirt. It is especially good for fair-skinned people who are in the water or on the beach and don't want to slather their bodies with sun-block every hour or so. I used it for snorkling in Curacao under a blazing sun and was comfortable in and out of the water. I found the size to be accurately labeled.
Comfortable, Good Quality, But a Tad Smallish June 9, 2010 Cooper's Dad (carmel, in USA) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Ordered 2 of these and 2 Coolibars (Coolibar UPF 50+ Men's Short-Sleeve Swim Shirt) at $15 more to compare. Similar quality, both with smooth seams and quality fabrics, so this Tuga rash guard seems to be a better value. I prefer the two-and three-tone construction of these, also, but the olive color combo is awfully drab for the beach. Unfortunately, though, these did seem about a half size two small for me. I'm a size 38 chest and Medium normally fits me comfortably (neither snug nor sloppy), but this was a bit form-fitting and the length not enough to avoid exposing my belly when I raise my arms over my head (as when playing with my son in the pool). So...if I choose to stick with these Tuga shirts, I'll need to exchange for a larger size first.
size scale must be revised March 14, 2010 LWSM 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I bought a XL size because I am a 200 lbs guy, but in my view, it is only a medium size in relation to an American size scale. Therefore, it's too small for me and I will send it to someone who would be interested. The largest size of this rashguard is XXL, I don't think a 200 lbs guy may wear it with comfort. Unless the size offer will include XXXL in accordance with the size scale the manufacturer is using, I will not buy similar product on internet anymore.
